From 1 October 2022 there are new licensing laws for short-term lets in Scotland. You cannot apply for a short-term let licence via the landlord register. Some registered landlords also operate short-term lets in Scotland. If you are one of these you will need to apply to your local authority for a separate short-term lets licence.
